Many lawyers charge for their time in six minute intervals (each phone call, email or ‘attendance’ on a file is worth one unit), however at Nu Legal we provide set price quotes for most of our services.
Once you get in contact with us and before we start working for you, we will provide you with what’s called a ‘Letter of Engagement’ which will set out what our fees will be.
In the meantime, you can navigate to our fees page to get an idea of what our fees will be before you contact us.
Our business hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, however please feel free to call or email us after hours and if we’re available we will answer.

We treat all information we hold about you as private and confidential and will not disclose any of that information unless we’re required to do so by law, where it’s necessary in order to provide our services to you, when it is with your consent or on your instructions.
Our duty of care is to you and not to any other person.
We need to verify your ID and in many cases this will mean meeting you in person at the beginning of a matter to check that you are who you say you are. In some cases, however, we offer online ID verification. We can discuss this with you when you sign up.
We will also need to meet with you to review and sign loan and other important documents.
We realise people are busy and it’s difficult to get time off work, so we won’t call you in a for a meeting unless we really need to.
